    Default Cities filing suit

Has anyone heard if Sacramento plans to file suit against any mortgage lenders for damages to the Sacamento Housing market and Tax Base? Some cities, like Trenton, NJ and Baltimore, MD are doing it.

    Default foreclosure suit

    Hi Martha,

Thank you for your post. No, I haven't heard of any such plans in Sacramento (that doesn't mean it's not in the works). There are a couple attorneys we know that practice in that field and we would be happy to check with them for you. I will post any updates on Tuesday (which will probably be the soonest I can get ahold of anyone) Isaac

Farmers Branch has past an ordinance requiring landlords to require proof of being in country legally with city fines if they fail to obey law. Also declared English official language. MeXican leaders are to file suit..
