Thread: My money back?

Do i get my bail money back after i go to trial or sign a plea aggrement. Or do i get it back once i get sentenced and go back to jail?

I go to trial in few days and i'm trying to get my sentecing date set out 45 days. I was hoping to get bail money back after trial. I don't have a attorney or i would ask him.

I think it's better to take the advice of an attorney.

You may not get your money back, depending on your deal with the bail agency. That's who you need to contact. If the money you provided was "security" for your appearance, then you would get it back when your court case is finished, probably once you go to jail, or are found "not guilty." It's possible that the money you gave was to purchase your bail bond, and you don't get it back.
