    Default Hurt while at work

Hello I was hurt at work on Feb 4th of this year. I live in LA and am a full time employee. I had surgery on my knee this past Tuesday. Workman's comp has been paying all of my med bills and hope they will start paying my lost wages sense I will be off of work for 5 weeks. My question is at the end of my medicinal when the doc lets me go will workman's comp offer me a settlement to close the case from any future claims or responsibility or will I need to hire an attorney?

    Default Hire an Attorney

It depends on how the case will be presented and the reason why you were injured. It is best if you talk to an attorney and ask him if you have high chances of winning your case or receiving money through a settlement.
