i was just wondering what peoples opinion on the matter is.
i personally agree with what he is saying and think its great that he is saying it out loud. however, i believe that by resigning hes doing 2 things wrong. first, by resigning hes allowing the "fight" to loose a highly seated and important soldier. he could have became the person that started a strong enough movement to change the u.s. second, his actions are very similar to what he spoke against,

"short-term political advantage rather than focusing on the greater good, and also just strident ideology,"

by leaving he became short term. he gave up on what i believe this country was built on and now is starting to lack... the willingness to improve and become stronger, instead of desire to be all powerful and richer.
